Details: "Top of The Pops Game: The No. 1 Music Family Board Game The aim of the game is to be the first team to collect at least one Artist Card from all eight categories: 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, Pop Stars of the Future, One-Hit Wonders and All-Time Chart Toppers. To begin, form two teams and nominate a player from each team to perform in the Buzzer Battle. Both players face each other with the buzzer between them, then flip over a Head to Head Card. This will reveal a random category, for example: “Songs that mention a day of the week”. The first player to think of a song that answers the card must shout (or sing) it, then press the buzzer. This starts the 15-second timer. The opposing player thinks of a new song, shouts it out, then presses the buzzer to reset the timer. Play keeps going back and forth until someone’s mind goes blank and they run out of time. The player who won the Buzzer Battle draws nine Artist Cards from the deck and secretly looks at them. They choose three to keep for themselves, then give the remaining six to their opponent from the Buzzer Battle – who secretly chooses three to keep and discards the rest. Both players now put their three cards face down on their three category squares on the game board. Each player has 30 seconds to get their team to guess all three artists by describing them in three different ways: Using one word, Speaking or singing a lyric from one of the artists songs (or making some up) and performing a song on the kazoo. Then its over to the other team. The first team to collect an Artist Card from all eight categories wins the game.
